Years ago, we ditched the idea of short vacations and quick getaways. We realized we could work remotely from nearly anywhere with strong WIFI and access to power, allowing us to stay longer, have more adventures, and dive deeper into different cultures around the world.

Unlike traditional nomads who often travel with a backpack week-to-week from hostel-to-hostel, or the expat who puts roots down and builds a home in a foreign city; next-gen nomads live temporarily in a new place every 1-3 months, enjoying all the comforts of home, while investing in experiences and personal growth.

Having an extended stay is crucial for the next-gen nomad. Specific countries welcome remote workers on a tourist visa, while others offer digital nomad visas if you plan to work (for a foreign company) within their borders. Either way, with an extended stay, where you stay is just as important. It's more than just a place to hang your hat; the location and design play a significant role in shaping your experience, perception, and well-being in your new home. Take it from a former interior and landscape designer－how your space is designed, impacts the way you feel, your mood, and well-being, day-to-day. It's worth the investment and can make every moment feel like a true home away from home.

We started out with 2 large suitcases and after the fees for bags added up, plus the additional lugging around of luggage, we realized we needed to lighten the load. This meant that items are best bought locally, but we found not all destinations have access to the same items and searching－although a joy in itself－can be time consuming when arriving to an unfamiliar city. In the cities that we travel to, we've found local businesses that support a chosen cause in that city, that provide carefully chosen essentials to help you settle in quickly when you arrive. Items are hand-selected and give a glimpse into some of the best products that the local area has to offer.

Our story begins with a chance encounter that changed everything.

It was late February, and Abbs was working remotely from Essaouira. One evening, she ventured into the Old Medina, but didn’t make it far—her eyes locked sight on a local Moroccan, Walid. After meeting for the first time, the connection between them was instant, and they learned that despite their different backgrounds and cultures, they shared the same vision of a life unbound—a life of adventure, freedom, and exploration. Both wanted to spend their lives to the fullest, in different cultures, experiencing music, foods, and a unique life together.

But they faced challenges; Walid, due to his Moroccan nationality, found it difficult to travel freely, and financial constraints were an ever-present hurdle. Abbs, a remote tech worker, had the means to travel but was often restricted by work and visa limitations.

So we conceived an idea—one that could help solve all constraints, not just for us, but for others also seeking a different type of lifestyle of freedom and adventure.

The idea was to build not just a company; but to create a movement dedicated to enhancing the lives of digital nomads and adventurists, making travel easier, more fulfilling, and meaningful.
